General: The storm severely affected Nova Scotia, but caused almost no damage in New Brunswick. High winds delayed or cancelled ferry services in southern New Brunswick. Severe floods occurred in Nova Scotia where a state of emergency was declared in Queens County.
Over much of New Brunswick, rainfall approached 100 mm in 24 hours. More than six centimetres of snow fell in areas north of Woodstock and Miramichi.
Saint John Area: The rain caused a minor pavement washout on Mill Street, leading to the Irving pulp mill at Reversing Falls.
