Nashwaak River: On April 5, a three kilometre long ice jam formed on the Nashwaak River, 0.5 km upstream of the bridge at Stanley, and caused minor flooding of the road to Giants Glen. The water level peaked in the afternoon, but the road remained passable as it was only flooded a depth of 0.13 metres. Water levels gradually declined, and by the morning of April 6, the road was no longer inundated. Cool temperatures allowed the ice jam to persist for many more days, but no further flooding occurred.
The maximum water level was 0.13 metres deep over the road.
