Inconsistent weather patterns and a flash freeze left some southern portions of the province with flood damage on February 11th. In Moncton, flooding on Lewisville Road near Wheeler Boulevard caused some headaches for morning commuters. According to the director of public works for the city, about 15 centimeters of water accumulated in the low-lying vicinity of the Taylor Ford dealership, mainly due to clogged storm drains from ice and snow build-up. There were reports of five homes which suffered overland flooding from water that leaked through the basement window. There were two isolated incidents of basements flooding in Riverview, and one home in Dieppe received minimal damage when a catch basin near the home overflowed. In Saint John, the fire department answered calls about flooded buildings on Sandlewood Lane, Milford, Spar Cove, Glen and Westfield roads. The storm left about 2,000 New Brunswick residents without electricity on the 11th.
