High tides

Affected Areas

Sources: Sackville Tribune, 1903/07/30. The following excerpt was published in the Sackville Tribune, July 30, 1903: "Saturday evening last the dyke on a section of the west marsh owned by Senator Wood and Mr. A.W. Bennett gave way and allowed the water to overflow a considerable portion of the adjacent marsh, thus destroying in a great measure the hay crop on the flooded marsh. As the tides have been exceptionally high lately it has so far been impossible to repair the dyke but this will be done as soon as possible."
