Miramichi River Basin: Some landings on streams in the Miramichi River Basin were torn out with the ice run sending logs adrift. A heavy ice jam occurred at Bryenton. Another ice jam was reported at Porter Cove, downstream of Doaktown.

A very large quantity of logs was swept out to sea.
