Memramcook River Basin: The high tide on September 22, resulted in flooding of the lowlands and damage to the railway bed of the C.N.R. line in the Dorchester area. Sackville Area: The high tides overtopped dykes, resulting in flooding of the marshland on September 22 and the 23rd. The highway near Aulac was reported to be flooded on September 23 to a depth of one to two feet [0.3 to 0.6 m].
