Sources: The Sackville Post 1923/10/02, 05. Southeastern New Brunswick: A rainstorm, accompanied by strong northwest winds, resulted in the flooding of marshland in the Sackville area. At Shediac, 28 inches [0.71 m] of water was reported to have flooded the floor of the powerhouse.
Heavy rains.
At Sackville, it was described as "one of the worst rainstorms in years".
Grain crops were damaged in the Sackville area. Reports indicated that the wind damages were greater than the flood damages.
