Relative Humidity Details
What is it?
Relative humidity is a measure of the amount of water vapour contained within the air, relative to the maximum amount that the air can contain at a given temperature and pressure (expressed as a percentage). Relative humidity is a meteorological (weather) parameter that allows us to better understand the behavior and impacts of air pollutants.
What does it do?
Relative humidity can affect chemical reactions that take place between pollutants in the air, and can also impact the extent to which certain odorous pollutants can be detected by people.
