Sussex Area: At Sussex, the storm caused the waters of Trout Creek to swell to abnormal heights. The floodwaters carried with it logs, trees and other debris which resulted in damage to a water main crossing the river. The damaged water main was reported to be the lower one that feeds the Maple Avenue district and the military camp.
Rain, high winds and probably melting snow. Possibly some debris jams.
No information on the flood magnitude was presented.
No estimates of the flood damage were presented. However, it was noted that "considerable water was lost from the reservoir".
