Sources: David Wilson of Environment Canada as recorded in "Supplemental Report, Documentation and Assessment of Flooding in the Town of Sackville and Environs". (From book Maritime Dykeland, Wilson's source) High tides were reported to have broken through or over topped several sections of dyke around the Bay of Fundy. The most severe flooding was reported to have occurred in the Canning area of Nova Scotia. Sackville Area: The marshes along the Tantramar River and its tributaries were reported to be completely flooded.
