Lower Saint John River Basin: Minor flooding was reported throughout the Maugerville and Sheffield areas, downstream of Fredericton. The high water was reported as playing havoc with spring planting.

Average daily water levels in the Saint John River at Fredericton (station 01AU003) were 5.919 m on May 9, 6.218 m on May 10, and 6.376 m on May 11. The maximum instantaneous water level was 6.404 m, which occurred at 2:55 am on May 11.
