Southeastern New Brunswick: It was reported that the high tides broke the dykes, damaging hay and grain crops, roads, and the railway. Flooding was reported to have occurred at the "Island Marsh" in particular, where a road was washed out.

"Had there been a heavy gale up the Bay of Fundy, it is said the tide would have equalled the Great Saxby Wave".
Damages to farmland and crops were reported to be in the range of $20,000 to $50,000.
