Nashwaak River Basin: Ice jams were reported to have occurred at Nashwaak Village and at Taymouth. No damage resulted. During the period, 4.66 inches [118mm] of rain was recorded at the Fredericton Airport.
Southeastern New Brunswick: In the Village of Port Elgin, several basements were reported to be flooded.
An early winter thaw began on January 6 and continued through to January 16. Mild temperatures, rain and melting snow with ice jams.
