Restigouche River Basin: In the Restigouche River Basin, most of the reported damages were to roads and the railways in the Quebec portion of the basin. At Matapedia, many basements were flooded and large sections of the roads were impassable. A 60 foot [approx.18 m] section of the C.N.R.'s, Gaspé Division was washed out about one mile below Matapedia. A debris jam resulted in the loss of a temporary rail bridge at Bonaventure. Numerous other washouts and flooded sections of highways were reported. Flood conditions were also prevalent in the southern portion of the Province, especially in Saint John, Kings and Charlotte counties. Kennebecasis River Basin: At Sussex, slight damage was done to the highway bridge on Maple Avenue. Route #2, between Fredericton and Saint John, was plagued with some floodwaters. The road surface at Sussex Corner was under a foot of water, and the foot bridge to the Boy Scout Camp was torn loose at one end. Flood conditions also existed at Coldbrook between Saint John and Sussex. Two bridges were reported to be out at Kingston Corner, Kings County, when the dam broke at Bates Lake. A barn and at least two vehicles were lost along with 25 cords of hardwood and 5 000 feet of lumber at Kingston Corner. St. Croix River Basin: The St. Croix River overflowed its banks disrupting rail service in the area. At Milltown, five homes on Water Street were inundated with up to two feet [0.6m] of water.

The 24-hour rainfall at Fredericton was reported to be 1.35 inches [34.3mm] making a total rainfall of 8.08 inches [205mm] for the month of November. Kennebecasis River Basin: In Kings County, the event was reported to be "the worst fall flood for at least 12 years". Observers thought the peak might have exceeded that of December, 1938. St. Croix River Basin: At the St. Croix Pulp and Paper Mill, Woodlands, a rainfall of 5.39 inches [approx. 137mm] was recorded. The total flow at the Grand Falls Dam, Woodlands, was reported to be in the order of 15 000 cfs [425m3/s]. Restigouche River Basin: In the Matapedia District, oldtimers described the fall floods as being "the worst ever experienced".
Kennebecasis River Basin: Losses at Kingston Corner were estimated at about $30 000. Restigouche River Basin: The Fraser Company was reported to have lost 300 to 400 cords of pulpwood in the Restigouche area.
