Southern New Brunswick had heavy rainfall and flooding throughout the region on 3-4 June. Moncton, Fredericton, Saint John, and Grand Manan exceeded the normal rainfall amount for the entire month of June. In Moncton most of the golf course was under water. In Saint John, McAllister Drive resembled a large lake and was closed because of flooding.
A continuous heavy rainfall caused flooding.
Saint John received 116 mm of rainfall, Moncton 101.8 mm, and Fredericton 91.2 mm in just two days over the weekend of 3-4 June. Some parts of southern New Brunswick saw similar amounts of rain with Grand Manan at top of the list with 143 mm.
Some basements and a few commercial streets were flooded in Saint John.
