Sources: The Sackville Post 1933/10/13. Moncton Area: Brooks were reported to be in flood, overflowing on to many roads as a result of insufficient culvert capacity. Some basements and roads were flooded. In the Halls Creek area, the high tide was reported to have inundated the roads leading to Leger Corner and to Lewisville, and the marshland at the Intervale "resembled a large lake". Sackville Area: It was reported that the runoff flooded several basements, damaged roads, and that "the marshes were flooded in every direction".

Moncton Area: The brooks were reported to be "in a state of flood similar to that during the spring freshet". At Shediac, the wind speed was reported to be as high as 50 miles per hour [80 kilometres per hour]. Sackville Area: It was reported that heavy rain occurred from October 6 to the 8th, but that some rain fell every day from October 4 to October 10. The meteorological record at the Experimental Farm near Amherst, Nova Scotia, reported 2.22 inches [56.4 mm] of rain over 24 hours on October 7, the heaviest period of rain during the storm.
It was reported that "the wet weather would probably damage the potato and grain crops", and the high winds damaged the orchards.
